Do something Today…Now…
“Every action geared towards the solution and final destination is worthy, and deserves recognition and acknowledgement.” Dr Sylvia Forchap-Likambi
Never underestimate the significance of a single step in a journey of a thousand miles, nor a simple word or sentence, in the process of writing and publishing a book. Every action geared towards the solution and final destination is worthy, and deserves recognition and acknowledgement. You would never become a millionaire for instance, if you lacked just 1 penny to round up the figure to a million. Furthermore, every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single mile/ step…so just do something about the situation, now—whatever it is that will take you a step closer to the solution…Just act!
One of the things that often hold people back and prevent them from acting, is their continuous search of that which they need/do not have or lack, in order to act. When your focus is on the things or resources that you do not have or would need in order to take action; it is very difficult to act—hence, frustration, anxiety, step in, and makes you appear helpless and unable to take full control or partial control of the situation at hand.
My advice to everyone who finds himself/herself in such a situation is always the same— in order to act without giving it a second thought, you must channel your focus to what you have at hand…what you have or are in possession of in the now and here to help bring about the solution. In other words, ask yourself this question: “What have I got in my hands…?” Just like God asked Moses in Exodus…Too often in life, the resources we need to resolve and overcome our daily life challenges or adversities are right within us and/ or within reach. Yet, we often look away from us, and sometimes too far in search of that which we already possess.
Have a blessed day and fruitful weekend!
