Women Empowered to Rise and Shine at the ‘Called to Greatness’ Retreat in North Wales

Ty Mawr, North Wales – A powerful and transformational weekend unfolded as seven Christian women leaders gathered for the Called to Greatness Retreat, held from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th April 2025 at the scenic Ty Mawr Parkdean Resort, just minutes from the tranquil North Wales coastline.

From the moment a few of the leaders arrived on Friday, the atmosphere was filled with a prophetic grace. The retreat officially commenced on Saturday with a full day of anointed sessions under the theme: “Unlock Your Greatness: A Day of Breakthrough, Restoration & Rebirth.” What followed was a divine encounter marked by worship, deep reflection, personal breakthroughs, and commissioning into purpose.

Guests were accommodated in a cosy two-night caravan stay that offered not only comfort but a spirit-filled closeness, fostering connection and communion. With the sound of the sea in the distance and the beach just a short walk away, the setting provided the perfect environment for a journey of spiritual renewal and growth.

The retreat featured guided reflection, meditation on Scripture, journaling, activation exercises, soul-refreshing beach walks, and a powerful visualisation and prophetic session by the sea.

Each Leader received a special gift package, including:

• An e-copy of the Personal and Professional Transformation and Success Planner

It was also a great privilege to donate 50 copies of A Father’s Tender and Compassionate Love: A Love So Tender and Unconditional to Festival Church in Towyn, as part of my ongoing mission to share God’s love and message of healing.

As the retreat came to a close on Saturday evening with refreshments and drinks from 6:00 PM, there was a compelling sense that destinies had been unlocked and callings affirmed. Some attendees remained until Sunday to enjoy a further time of rest and reflection, departing with hearts full and spirits renewed.

The retreat marks the beginning of a powerful movement encouraging women of faith to boldly embrace the greatness that God has deposited within them and serve confidently in their full potential. We all returned home equipped, empowered, and ready to impact  our communities and ministries with fresh fire and vision.
